Email Verification Process

Email verification is used primarily when clients request email appends to postal mailing list data. Because appended emails did not originate from the client's own database, verification is a critical step to ensure the addresses are valid, reachable, and appropriate for responsible outreach. Domain & Mail Server Validation

We validate domains and associated mail servers to confirm they are active and properly configured. Email addresses tied to inactive, parked, or invalid domains are removed before delivery issues occur.

Spam Trap Identification

Spam traps are designed to flag poor data practices. We identify and remove known and high-risk spam trap addresses to help protect sender reputation and reduce the risk of filtering or blacklisting.

Disposable Email Filtering

Temporary and disposable email addresses offer little long-term value and often expire quickly. These addresses are identified and removed to ensure appended emails reach real, persistent inboxes.

Catch-All Domain Review

Some domains are configured to accept all email addresses—valid or not. We flag these catch-all domains so they can be excluded or handled carefully to avoid unpredictable engagement results.

Syntax & Formatting Validation

Email addresses with structural or formatting errors are removed, eliminating obvious hard bounces caused by invalid syntax.

Mailbox-Level Validation

We perform advanced checks to determine whether an email address is capable of receiving messages. Addresses likely to result in hard bounces are removed prior to use.

Mail Exchange (MX) Verification

We confirm that a valid mail server exists to accept email for the domain. Addresses without a functioning mail exchange are excluded to protect deliverability.

Duplicate Email Removal

Duplicate email addresses are identified and removed to prevent redundant sends and inflated volume.
